It's a nice area. We have dear friends who live about 10 minutes from the university. I've found people there are generally really nice. They do have an impressive downtown area, IMO, yet Knoxville is supposed to be considered more of a small town compared to the likes of Nashville. My wife and I had kicked around the idea of moving to Knoxville, but I don't think our families would be very happy. Shoot, most of my family still lives in Bassett and they feel like we've moved so far away even though we're just an hour into North Carolina.

Clemson never looked like they had the depth of their ranking this year. I was expecting something like this to happen, but I sure didn't think Syracuse would be the one to do it.

I agree, Bill.

Plus their QB, who has been racking it up this season, got injures vs Florida State so the Cuse saw the wound on the offense and they went after it. And then Washington State gets DESTROYED last night so now the Top 10 rankings have been all shook up on what was supposed to be a lowkey game week.

UNC is not very good this year.

One of the worst in the ACC; if not THE worst.

And it wont be long until Larry Fedora will be fired as head coach. The will be coming into Blacksburg Saturday fighting for his career!

Well guys - visiting Knoxville was better than the game. The Clemson game surprised me.

Didn't even get to watch any college football on Saturday, didn't realize Clemson had gotten upset. I'll say this, when I was watching the VA Tech/Clemson game, I noticed that their quarterback wasn't that great of a passer, but it's his speed on the ground that killed the Hokies. I think once you contain him and force him to beat you with his arm, then you have him. Glad to see them get knocked off. Maybe it gives the Hokies a better chance at the ACC.
