Didn't hear it Monday, but I did hear it today. Not on Rome's show, but Tiki's show before it. They are called "digital dropouts." The result of the speed of the data being greater than the received speed of the receiver. The receiver buffers and buffers until it fills up, then the audio drops out until the receiver can catch up then it comes back in. If you're listening, as you say, you miss a word or two. Very frustrating. Our signal strength could be low, there could be some noise getting in the signal that's causing it, or it could be the receiver dying a slow death. If the latter is the case it'll get worse. If it's the first two, we should be able to manage it quickly. The Engineer will be in Thursday and I'll have him take a look.
I appreciate you making me aware of this. I keep it on all day, but I'm monitoring all three stations and I'm rarely listening to it close enough to catch this.
