Gene Simmons being banned for crude comments? Who did they think they were interviewing?

I liked AC/DC more when Brian Johnson joined the band. I guess I'm in the minority with that, but I never really cared for Bon Scott. He always sounded like he was messed up on drugs. Johnson was more of a metal singer to me. It's kind of like the Roth VS Hagar thing. You have some Van Halen fans who are strictly David Lee Roth, and some who are strictly Sammy Hagar. I liked music from both lead singers. I like some Bon Scott lead AC/DC songs, but most of my favorite songs come from Brian Johnson.

Having said that, AC/DC hasn't been the same since Malcolm had to quit. And of course, without Brian Johnson, I don't see how you can have an AC/DC. I think they're done as a band. They have a great catalog that will live on, but unless they were able to reinvent themselves with a group of younger guys who would be granted rights to the name, I don't think you'll ever hear anything else from the band.

I know that Gene Simmons has talked about KISS being more of a brand than a band, and having him and Paul pick their replacements in the band. In a way, I think that would be neat. If a group of young rockers in their 20's was able to carry on the legacy of these bands while having an updated sound that pays proper homage to the legacy sound, I might could get into that. There's no more rock bands in today's popular music. All rock is underground now.

Finally finished it,I actually thought it was a bit better than the 1st season.

It's funny how some people didn't like it as good as the first, others thought it was just as good, and a few others liked it better. I thought is was at least as good as the first. I was entertained! Definitely makes me want more Stranger Things!

I hope all of my ex-girlfriends have forgotten my name!

It would help uninformed readers like me if you told a little more about these guys. Or, maybe I am the only one who doesn't know who they are.  ;D
Anyway, if I have to look them up, I may as well post the info.

Eddie Scott Trunk is an American music historian, radio personality, talk show host, and author, best known as the host of several hard rock and heavy metal-themed radio and television shows

Clark Brian Howard is a popular consumer expert and host of the nationally syndicated Clark Howard Show

Steve Austin, better known by the ring name "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, is an American actor, media personality, producer, and retired professional wrestler.

David L. "Dave" Ramsey III is an American businessman, author, radio host, television personality, and motivational speaker. It looks like he discusses financial issues.

Troy Allan Martin is an American professional wrestler and promoter, better known by his ring name The Franchise Shane Douglas.

Tech News Weekly hosted by Jason Howell and Megan Morrone brings you interviews from tech journalists who make or break the top stories of the week. (I used to listen to This Week in Tech. This appears to be a spinoff.)

So, I listen to Eddie Trunk, who is one of the biggest names in music journalism. He hosts "That Metal Show" on VH1. Eddie tends to interview musicians and singers who are from the hard rock and metal genres mostly.

Dave Ramsey is best known for his finance show on the radio and his Financial Peace University (in which my wife and I have taken.) He's all about getting people out of debt and away from using credit cards an borrowing money.
Clark Howard is best known for his finance show as well. He's a bit more realistic when it comes to consumer reports, debt, credit, etc... He's all about helping people to save money, invest wisely, and get great deals.
Stone Cold Steve Austin is an ex-WWE superstar. He's podcasts are mainly about the wrestling biz, old stories with other wrestlers that were in the biz when he was there, beer, etc...He has a family friendly podcast and one where he's a bit more liberal with letting the four letter words fly.
The tech news podcasts that I normally listen to actually have Tom Merrit as the host. I cannot stand the host who replaced him on the Tech News Today podcast that's sponsored by This Week In Tech. That guy is/was B-O-R-I-N-G to listen to! Tom has a sense of humor and a lot more interesting.

Having said all of that, I haven't listened to any of these podcasts in awhile. Since it doesn't take me nearly as long to drive to work nowadays, I don't have as much time to listen. I do listen sometimes at work, but honestly, I prefer to listen to music at work as opposed to someone talking in my ear.

Everybody is being accused of sexual misconducted. I don't remember a time when so many people in the entertainment biz, politics, and the church have been accused of such. I'm making sure I am not having eye contact with any woman, man, or child. I'm afraid anything will be construed as sexual harassment!

I didn't get to watch the game as I was traveling home from the beach. Will try to tune in to watch the game this weekend.

They've been laying off for a couple years now. Has nothing to do with politics. The thing thats killing ESPN is the fact that NBC and FOX have launched their own sports channels and they have bid on the big games. And gotten them!

NBC Sports covered 1/3 of the NASCAR races and a host of NFL games.
FS1 (Fox Sports) has been covering several D1 college conferences. And they have their own XM radio station. Add to that they have poached a lot of the ESPN hosts to compete; Skip Bayless being one and he has his own prime-time show now.

Barstool Sports has blown up on social media and is now getting their own XM station launching in the new year.

ESPN's problem is the market is blown up and other stations can pay more than personalities and commentary.

I think it's a little bit of politics, the fact that they have competition, and the fact that they have a dated business model. A lot of reasons why ESPN is failing.

And don't get me started on that ghostbusters trap he made .... I mean, it looked like the actual prop from the movie!

LOL! And th gadget that trapped the ghosts lol!

Moore should step down. If found innocent, then postpone the vote on his position or have a re-vote if found innocent afterwards.

What is wrong with these celebs and politicians?

I just don't see how we let that receiver go WIDEEEE OPEN down the middle the field and catch a ball that almost any other players couldnt have caught cause he was so damn wide open.

And the 2 passes when it was 3rd and 1 and then 4th and 1. Just run it up the gut.

Bad. Bad play calling to finish it out.

Hard to keep hold of the fact that this is a very young team on offense. And we had 3 guys who broke records at their positions last season (quarterback, wide receiver, and tight end) leave school early to go into the NFL draft. Its hard to fill those shoes.

It will take some time. I think Jackson will continue to grow as a QB and I think he's going to be really good. A year can make all the difference in the world. A year and a great recruitment class.
