The Trump economic recovery is underway, Americans are gaining money.

Today Apple announced they are bringing back $250 Billion from overseas, will build a new campus in the United States and will be hiring 20,000 American workers because of Trump's tax reform and job creation act.

Meanwhile, Democrats want to obstruct against funding the United States military and border security by demanding amnesty for all illegals in this country.

Politics / Democrats To Shutdown Federal Government Over Illegals
« on: January 17, 2018, 06:29:13 AM »
Looks like the Democrats are prepared to shutdown the federal government come Friday over illegals in this country. So when folks do not get their welfare checks from the government or can't use other government services like Social Security Offices because they are closed just remember the Democrats are to blame because they are choosing illegals over the security of the United States.

Politics / 200,000 El Salvadorians Given Orders Today
« on: January 08, 2018, 07:23:19 PM »
Some 200,000 El Salvadorians received word today from President Trump that during the next 18 months they will either need to return to El Salvador or put in papers to apply for legal status in the U.S. as the United States will not be renewing their Temporary Status they were given back in 2001 by Bush 43.

Of course El Salvador has now had 17 years to clean up from the earthquake which was the reason those folks were given Temporary status.

Once again President Trump is working hard to clean up what is the immigration mess in this country.

Republicans will have a 51-49 majority in the House of Delegates for the next two years as well as control of the Virginia Senate.

This will limit Northam and his liberal buddies from doing anything drastic and harmful to Virginians.

Almost time to say goodbye to Hillary Clinton sidekick Governor McAwful. he was  blocked for four years by Republicans in the General Assembly.

Politics / GOP/Trump 2018 Agenda
« on: December 29, 2017, 06:35:07 PM »
Now that tax reform is out of the way what is on the agenda for Congressional Republicans and President Trump.  There is talk of an infrastructure bill in the works sometime in January. Congress needs to pass a spending bill for thr rest of FY18. Current CR expires I believe on January 19th.

Now that the individual mandate of Obamacare has been abolished time to find a way to repeal the rest of it. With some 15 millions Americans now being freed of having to pay the Obamacare penalty, this will suck the income needed for Obamacare.

Speaker Ryan has talked about the need to reform entitlements. This needs to be done if programs like Social Security, Medicaid and Medicare are to survive.

Military spending needs to increase while spending on social programs needs to decrease. Time for another welfare reform bill to get passed through Congress.

Much still to be done by Congress and President Trump. 2017 ended up being a productive year lets hope 2018 continues on the road to making America great again.

Politics / Historic Day for American Taxpayers
« on: December 20, 2017, 08:02:30 PM »
Today is a great and historic day for American taxpayers. Congress has approved the tax reform and jobs creation bills and it now awaits the signature of President Trump.

In addition to lowering taxes, the bill also eliminates the Obamacare individual Mandate. no longer will Americans be forced to buy insurance they do not want nor will they have to pay a penalty to the government for not choosing insurance.

In addition, oil drilling will not be permitted in ANWAR (Alaskan Wildlife Preserve). This create thousand of new jobs as well increase American energy production, both in oil and natural gas.

in the first response to the tax reforms, AT&T announced today that once the bill becomes law, they will invest more $1 Billion in new American infrastructure plus pay bonuses of $1,000 to more than 220,000 of their employees.

Americans should start seeing increases in their take home pay starting the 1st of February.

President Trump and Republicans came through for Americans today. For that, we are grateful.

Politics / Democrats Sexscapades Continue to Grow
« on: November 20, 2017, 09:04:59 PM »
More liberal democrats today have been outed for sexually abusing women.

Charlie Rose, star of PBS and CBS News.

Al Franken - Another woman has come forward claiming sexual abuse by Franken. Still no democrat politicians have called for Franken to resign from the Senate.

There is a report that another 4 women are preparing to step forward with claims of sexual abuse by Bill Clinton.

Looks to me like the Democrat Party is the Party of the abuse of women.

General Discussion / Martinsville's Pre-Thanksgiving Parade
« on: November 19, 2017, 09:58:46 AM »
IMO, if you want to have a parade in the middle of November and before the Thanksgiving holiday, do not name it a Christmas Parade. Call it the Thanksgiving Parade with a special appearance by Santa Claus.

Residents can always go to the Bassett Christmas Parade which is scheduled for Saturday, December 2nd which at least is during the Christmas season (after Thanksgiving).
