When seniors start to die due to their social security checks and medicaid being stopped due to the federal government shutdown and children start to die because they will not get their free meals from the federal government due to the government shutdown, everyone can simply blame the Democrats because they are willing to shutdown the federal government because they want amnesty for all illegals in this country and they do not want border security for this country.

Shame!  As for the No Sense poster on the forum, it takes 60 votes in the Senate to pass a spending Bill.  You failed your civics class!  Chuck U. Shumer has said he would filibuster any spending bill that does not include a fix for DACA (amnesty).

Politics / DOW 26,000
« on: January 17, 2018, 08:08:11 PM »
In just 1 week the Dow Jones jumped another 1,000. Today the Dow gained 322 points to close at a record 26,115 points.

The Trump economic recovery is underway, Americans are gaining money.

Today Apple announced they are bringing back $250 Billion from overseas, will build a new campus in the United States and will be hiring 20,000 American workers because of Trump's tax reform and job creation act.

Meanwhile, Democrats want to obstruct against funding the United States military and border security by demanding amnesty for all illegals in this country.

Politics / Democrats To Shutdown Federal Government Over Illegals
« on: January 17, 2018, 06:29:13 AM »
Looks like the Democrats are prepared to shutdown the federal government come Friday over illegals in this country. So when folks do not get their welfare checks from the government or can't use other government services like Social Security Offices because they are closed just remember the Democrats are to blame because they are choosing illegals over the security of the United States.

I take it as only 15 from the city of Martinsville applied. Guess the remainder were from Henry County and surrounding areas.

UVA beat Syracuse at home erasing bad memories of 2 recent collapses against the Orangemen. NC State has been a giant killer this year, beating two #2 ranked teams (Duke and Arizona), so the Hoos better be ready Sat, while they are at home.

Virginia plays NC State at home Sunday evening starting at 6:00pm

Let's do a comparison here.....

Liberals say left all of them stay even though they are here illegally (a crime).

Let's say someone robs a bank. Will the courts allow the children of the bank robber to keep the stolen money?

Of course not. Well maybe in California.

All need to go back to El Salvador or what ever country they came from. If they wanto to go to the U.S. Embassy in their particular country and apply for U.S. citizenship then that is fine.

Open ended illegal immigration is wrong and it is bad for the United States.

I ask this again. Do the Democrats want a DACA deal bad enough to allow a wall to be built at the southern U.S. border in exchange for a DACA deal or are the Democrats simply pandering for votes?

What is it about the word TEMPoRARY that Solon does not understand?

Thats right. I forget Democrats want a wide open border where anyone and everyone can come across into this country, get amnesty and free government welfare, courtesy of  hard working Americans.

DACA is the same way. The D and A in DACA mean DEFERRED ACTION. Another temporary program.

Trump has shown compassion. He has put them on an 18 month clock to get their affairs in order and either leave the country or get their paperwork in for legal status.

If liberals truly want a DACA fix they will agree in exchange for a DACA fix to build a wall at the southern U.S. border.
Let's see if Democrats really want a DACA fix or if they are just pandering for votes as usual.

So everybody is standing up with their hand over their hearts again?

By the way - if the "damn" president won't pitch a fit over a bunch of hooligans in shoulder pads disrespecting the flag and country, then I'm not an American. IMO he should of pulled a Reagan like the airport controllers and shut it down until the gained an understanding.

Amen to that!

Politics / 200,000 El Salvadorians Given Orders Today
« on: January 08, 2018, 07:23:19 PM »
Some 200,000 El Salvadorians received word today from President Trump that during the next 18 months they will either need to return to El Salvador or put in papers to apply for legal status in the U.S. as the United States will not be renewing their Temporary Status they were given back in 2001 by Bush 43.

Of course El Salvador has now had 17 years to clean up from the earthquake which was the reason those folks were given Temporary status.

Once again President Trump is working hard to clean up what is the immigration mess in this country.

That will mean Northam will not try and stick Virginians with expansion of Medicaid like Governor McAwful tried to do unsuccessfully.

We will see.

Constant negativity is not an original thought.

Apparently neither one of them can live without relying on the government to get them through life.

You should join Solon and update your  obsolete Democrat Party Playbook The two of you keep reading from. the same old crap of the past  50 years. The times are leaving both of you behind.

Republicans have sold out the nation to reward their donors with their deficit-busting tax cut give away. The next step is to rob the American people of their social safety net to recoup the defense money they gave away while increasing the debt. Protecting the good economic times that the prudence and wisdom of Democrats brought us after the Great Republican Recession will be frittered away by financial deregulation.  Only Democratic control of Congress can preserve the gains since 2008 and prevent the child in the White House and his enablers from cheating the American people yet again with their promotion of unprincipled risk-taking.

Massive liberal Kool Aid drinker.
